Lovely day with Joel and Sarah yesterday: brunch in the Mission at super-delicious eggs, tortillas, and cactus fruit SanJalisco restaurant. Then we went out to Funston Park (a retired fort) at the extreme southwest corner of the city, where Joel and Sarah had never gone before, and walked around the hang glide area, among the well-behaved happy San Francisco dogs and people, gorgeous ocean (you could see the 27 mile distant Fallone Islands), also the tankers coming out the Golden Gate, and the towers of the bridge itself. Wind swept, lovely. Andy had to go back to his conference; I hung out with J & S for a while and we made a light dinner together.
