Friday evening, September 16, I interviewed Diane Simmons about her wonderful new book
The Courtship of Eva Eldridge. This is at once non-fiction about American women at the middle of the twentieth century, a report about life on the home from during the Second World War,, the story of a farm girl who becomes a city girl with a romance
and a tale of serial bigamy.
And all true.
I love the book, and had a great time interviewing her at Words bookstore in Maplewood, NJ.
